MATCH OF THE WEEK:
Cedric Alexander is the epitome of wasted, great potential. In 2016, WWE attempted to show how much they care about "pro wrestling" and had a tournament for mostly unknown talents and indy darlings called the "Cruiserweight Classic". I'm talking smack about it but I wish they would bring it back. It was quite entertaining. In a second round match, Cedric Alexander, who at the time I had never heard of before, wrestled Kota Ibushi....one of the best fucking wrestlers of all times! And Kenny Omega's "lover". This was one of the most unexpected, hard-hitting matches, I didnt expect ol' boy to be so damn good. I cant remember who the commentators were, on second thought one of them was Daniel Bryan, but one of them said that Cedric had lost around 15lbs so he could be in the CWC, which has a weight limit of 205lbs. Dude showed his ass. Near fall after near fall, I think Kota dropped Ceddy Bear on his neck too.
Either way, after the greatness of this match wore off, we rasslin nerds wanted to see Cedric as the WWE Champ tomorrow. But, the best we got was him being WWE Tag Team Champ....wait....lemme check 1st.....aight yeah, WWE Raw Tag Team Champ with the homie Shelton Benjamin. And dont get me wrong, being a Tag Champ is fantastic, but Ceddy shoula been WWE Champ...tomorrow. Speaking of...the Hurt Business. The Hurt Business, yall! Old man Vince had to ruin it! Had to eff it up! Vinnie will mess up a wet damn dream! That was honestly the best work that ANY of them has done, including MVP! Dudes was platinum, shoulda went triple. Go back and watch the match on The 'Cock...my bags, Peacock. THE CWC. Kota Ibushi vs. Cedric Alexander. And to add a few drops in your positivity bucket, make sure you watch after the match as well. Very special moment that made us all think that Cedric Alexander shoulda been WWE Champ....tomorrow. #PleaseSignCedric
