Time for the Jets to Tank!? Week NFL Recap

Let’s overreact!

Remember keep the receipts, here is our predictions for each week game

Buffalo Bills 16 at New York Jets 22

Aaron Rodgers sustained an injury on the fourth play of the Jets drive, which unfortunately rules him out for the remainder of the season. Despite this setback, the Packers managed to secure a victory!

The Buffalo Bills haven't been the same since Brian Daboll departed for the Giants. The team is currently underperforming, and it appears that Stefon Diggs is growing increasingly frustrated. This situation is quite disappointing; one might even wonder if the Madden cover curse has some truth to it.

Dallas Cowboys 40 at New York Giants 0

In the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants, the Cowboys dominated with a score of 40 to 0. The Cowboys are my top pick for the Super Bowl, and their defense is performing at an exceptional level. This applies to their secondary, linebackers, safeties, and defensive line. They seem poised to put a lot of pressure on opposing quarterbacks this year. Mike has taken over play-calling duties this season after Kellen Moore departed to become the Offensive Coordinator with the Chargers. Mike has dubbed this offense the "Texas Coast" offense, a departure from the traditional West Coast offense, which some might find cringe-worthy.

Micah Parsons was a force to be reckoned with in this game, and it took until there were just seven minutes left in the first half before we saw any signs of life from the Giants' offense.

There isn't much positive to say about the Giants' performance in this game; it was, in essence, a national embarrassment. Their performance left much to be desired.

Cincinnati Bengals 3 at Cleveland Browns 24

Hey Chase, how about you be quiet? The Bengals are struggling every time you talk.

Burrow threw for only 86 yards. That's not what you expect from a $250 million contract.

This marks the 100th game in this series, and it's been a tough one. Having lived in Cleveland, I can tell you the weather here is terrible, and both teams played poorly. It was a defensive battle. Cleveland's defense is impressive, and they seem to focus on the last 4 minutes of each half for scoring.

Dewayne Jones, a 4th-round pick, is already one of the best right tackles in the league.

Houston Texans 9 at Baltimore Ravens 25

You can tell Houston has a defensive-minded coach. Their defense is outstanding. Remember, Reeta from "F***ed Up Stats" will be covering the game. CJ Stroud needs to do us a favor and learn to throw the ball away. Lamar isn't running much this year, which is good for his health.

Will Anderson is a menace to society and should be locked up, what you say bout my momma!

Where's OBJ? I barely heard his name today, and it's unfortunate that Dobbins is out for the season.

Arizona Cardinals 16 at Washington Commanders 20

The Cardinals won't be giving up the first pick in the NFL without a fight. Dobbs just needs a chance to play. He played a bit last year, but it's good that Sam Howell started more last year. Ron Rivera didn't realize how good he was until last year's start. He might be a gamer, but the Commanders always seem to find a shorter QB to go hard. Shoutout to the short kings.

Dobbs said he doesn't know everyone's name on offense, but he played alright.

Jacksonville Jaguars 31 at Indianapolis Colts 21

"Play until you hear the whistle" - how did the Jags forget that? Buckner scored a TD and stretched out for the pylon, and it was impressive.

I forgot how good Ridley was; I'm glad he's back in the league. Lawrence will throw an INT every other game, no matter what.

Anthony Richardson is the best rookie QB taken in the first round. Some players are just made for the NFL, not for the college game.

Tank Bigsby is a tank, and I love the Jags this year. They're a team that can take a beating and keep going.

San Francisco 49ers 30 at Pittsburgh Steelers 7

CMC's 65-yard run play in the 3rd quarter was incredible. Purdy looks healthy and potentially an MVP candidate. The 49ers dominated the Steelers, and I was wrong about this week's pick.

We can't judge Pickett based on this game; he looked terrible, but the 49ers have one of the best defenses in the league. A top 10 defense of all time. If the 49ers don't win the Super Bowl, they should consider letting Kyle go.

TJ Watt is the best defender in the NFL, period.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 20 at Minnesota Vikings 17

Baker Mayfield started strong and played like a true warrior. Pace JR almost took his head off, and Baker still went for the first down run. If he played for Colorado, he'd have a 'D' on his chest. Baker Mayfield came back and won; what a game.

Somebody needs to pay Jefferson; he's the best WR and could break the league receiving yards record. Tampa may not have a great offense, but they have a special defense.

Tennessee Titans 15 at New Orleans Saints 16

Carr seems to be struggling; why didn't the Saints draft a QB? He doesn't seem to be on the same page as the WRs and looks quite off. He made the Raiders look smart.

Tannehill is struggling! This is why we have them finishing last in the division. Three INTs.

Green Bay Packers 38 at Chicago Bears 20

This is the first time we've seen the full Matt LaFleur offense in Green Bay because Rodgers was absent. Dobbs said early in the preseason that he didn't see any difference between Rodgers and Love. Was he right?

New year, same issues. The Bears' OL is terrible, so Fields has to run way too much. I dislike the Bears' offense, and we might end up calling Fields a bust when he hasn't had a good team. DJ Moore is one of the best weapons in the league.

Why do they play "Shook Ones" when the Packers face 3rd downs?

Philadelphia Eagles 25 at New England Patriots 20

Mac looks happy again despite the loss. It was a close game. Then the Eagles disappeared after the pick-six. New England has a top 3 defense, and Bill O'Brien has revitalized the Patriot offense.

The Eagles don't look the same as last year, but it's understandable when you lose both coordinators. Does Hurts make mistakes during big games? Just asking. The Eagles' defense is still top 5.

Miami Dolphins 36 at Los Angeles Chargers 34

Tua threw for 466 yards and is leading the MVP race. If he can stay healthy, wow.

Tua throws one of the best deep balls, and they have a top 2 WR. Basically, them and the Bengals. Tua unveiled a custom helmet for concussion protection, and they need to trade for a reliable backup QB; Mike White doesn't inspire confidence. This could be a Super Bowl-worthy team.

The new offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, has made the Chargers much faster. Why are all the Chargers' receivers tall and fast?

Give Ekeler some money!

Hope this is a playoff match up, best game of the week.

Las Vegas Raiders 17 at Denver Broncos 16

You can't cook until you have the ingredients, and with Sean Payton, Russell can finally cook.

Told you, first drive and injured already, but he was okay.

What was that? Sean Payton is a crazy man, going for the onside kick like in the Super Bowl. Hilarious.

Russell Wilson is back moving out of the pocket, and the offense looks fluid.

Surtain is an all-pro CB and will help Denver's defense this year, but I don't like the Denver defense. Just too many penalties.

So maybe it was Carr. Jimmy G looked comfortable in this offense, which makes sense since he knows it. Adams and Jimmy have a real connection.

Los Angeles Rams 30 at Seattle Seahawks 13

Puka Nacua, a 5th-round pick, is going to be a superstar. He'll be a problem with Kupp. It's crazy how we forget that Matthew Stafford knows how to win with a weak team; remember the Detroit years? I thought the Rams would be 3-14, but maybe they're an underrated team in the NFL that will make some noise.

The Rams made Geno look like the Jets' Geno; they could be a problem.
